We cross-stitch quilt squares which are then made into lap quilts for children and adults with long term or life-threatening illnesses.

There is no limit to the amount of squares you can stitch and no deadlines either.

It is also sometimes difficult to refuse a request if it is posted on the board, as members may feel obliged to say yes. Most requests are genuine, but we need to make sure that our gifts go to those who really need them
